3. What does it mean to "mirror image"?

“Mirror image” flips your images and words so they read backwards. You will place your transfer on your project face down and iron, so it is important that you "mirror image" so your words will read right side up when they are transferred to your project. Many printers offer “mirror image”, “t-shirt mode” or “reverse mode” in their printer settings options. If so desired, test print your image on a plain piece of paper.

6. How do I wash my t-shirt or project once the T-Shirt Transfer for Light Colors has been applied?

Transfers have a stiff feel to them when new. This feel will become softer as you wash the garment. Turn t-shirt inside out. Machine wash cold or warm water in mild detergent, NO BLEACH, NO SOFTENER. Do not use hot water. Remove promptly from washer as bleeding may occur if left wet. If bleeding occurs, rewash. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. If air drying, blot excess water from image with a clean dry towel. Do not stretch as cracking may occur. Do not iron directly on transfer. If ironing is necessary, cover with a sheet of baking parchment (available at grocery stores) and allow to cool before removing.
